I work a full-time job, can I still trade?
Absolutely! 80% of our members work full-time and lead very busy lives. We provide crystal clear information so that when the time comes to make a move you are instantly notified with a specific message.

What is the OEX?
OEX is the ticker symbol for the Standard & Poor's 100 Index traded at the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). The options traded on the S&P 100 index are commonly referred to as the OEX. For a complete review of the index please visit the CBOE. OEXSTREET.COM has no association with the CBOE.

How much does an OEX option cost?
We trade the front month option series with deltas ranging from 40% to 65%. The farther out we are from options expiration (3rd Friday of every month) the higher the option prices due to time premium (Theta). There's no need to worry about learning the Greeks. We take care of everything for you by providing the exact option contract to trade. But on average the options we trade are priced from $500 to $1000 per contract.

I cannot watch the market minute by minute. Can I still trade?
Absolutely! Yahoo! messenger is a very small software that runs in the background while you work. When we send a trading alert you will receive a flashing message on your tool bar and an audible alert telling you that we've sent you an instant message for you to review. The message will be precise and you will know exactly what to do. Everything we do is designed with you in mind. We realize that not everyone has the ability to watch the markets in real time and we also know that everyone doesn't trade for a living so we tailor our messages to fit you.

Are the trades sent in real-time or after the market closes?
All correspondence is REAL-TIME. This means the instant a trading signal develops you will be immediately notified. We use Yahoo! messenger to send trading alerts & signals. It's the most efficient way to get these important updates to you.

I'm new to options; will you teach me to trade?
Though, the majority of our members have some experience trading options, some come here with absolutely zero experience. We always recommend starting off slow and lerning while you watch others. This way you avoid the typical mistakes made by new option traders. Our lead trader is available to chat on Yahoo! messenger and will answer the most basic questions, or complicated one for that matter. We're here to help you achieve your goals!

I like to scalp emini futures. Do you provide this?
Scalping is a form of trading where you jump in & out of emini futures quickly in hope of capturing a small gain. There are many drawbacks associated with scalping strategies. In our 10+ years of dealing with thousands of on-line traders it's obvious that most traders do not have a concrete trading plan. In fact we've seen "scalpers", as they're known as in the industry, be successful up to 85% of the time and still lose money. This is because they use extremely wide protective stops and very small profit targets. If you throw enough darts you're going to hit the bullseye. But you're also going to miss the board from time to time and these guys sometimes fail to use stops and it ultimately ruins their performance. We prefer a more savvy trading approach designed for longevity, not some get rich quick idea that isn't going to work 3 months down the road. Our lead trader helps members each morning navigate the S&P eMini futures with an extremely high success rate. We invite you to monitor the action and see how "scalping" is correctly incorporated.

Do you hold trades overnight?
No. We only day trade. If a position is held late in the afternoon we will send you an instant message with exact instructions on closing out the position so that you have zero risk overnight. We can always reposition ourselves the next day and many times we get a much better price!

Is the free trial a full version?
Absolutely. We provide full access to our options and futures alerts so that you can make an educated decision before you buy. We want you to be confident in the quality of our service. Ask our lead trader a question while on the trial. You will get a detailed response and we strive to exceed your expectations.

How often will I receive an OEX alert?
There is an average of Five OEX option setups per week. As volatility increases the number of trades increases. In other words, if the market is range bound, risk levels are evaluated and trades are minimized to reduce risk. We typically broadcast 1 OEX option buy signal every day. Though, because the buy signal is specific, all buy signals do not trigger. This means, on average, we enter OEX options successfully 2 to 3 times each week.

Do I need $25,000 to trade your OEX option signals?
NO -- The pattern day trader rule states that you cannot execute more than 3 option day trades within 5 calendar days. Seldom, if ever, do we day trade 4 or more times within 5 calendar days. This means if your account size is a fraction of this requirement you will still be able to trade our signals.

Can I ask questions about my option position?
Absolutely! Please do ask questions, that’s why we are here and use Yahoo! Instant Messenger…immediate access!

How much time is required to trade your system?
We primarily trade between 9:30am and 11:30am ET and 1pm and 3pm ET. The trades can be random, but we find that through the lunch period it's a safe bet to take off a couple of hours if you need to run errands and handle work related issues. We realize that the majority of our members have full-time jobs and we try to accomodate their schedules by working our trading times around theirs.

How much do I need to trade your system?

We probably receive this question more than any other. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to options trading. Any successful trader will tell you to keep your risk percentage very low per trade. Most suggest 2% to 5% maximum risk per trade. However, if you've allocated funds for direct use in options speculation you may consider higher risk. Our average member has an account size of $5,000 - $10,000.

What do you recommend I use for margin when trading eMinis?

Success starts and ends with risk management. 2% to 5% risk per trade is what we find most members employing. Though, our preferred risk tolerance is 1% to 2% per trade. This allows us to remain objective at all times. Have you experienced FEAR, GREED, or PRIDE while trading? That's because you were using too high of a risk percent per trade. You will find the correct risk percentage when you no longer feel the trading results in your stomach :-)
